John 14:6 "And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts." Psalms 119:45 I am an idealist, and a wanna-be activist. I don't drink or do drugs or vaccinate my children. I smoke only when on fire. I'm a home-birth advocate. I believe in every baby's RIGHT TO LIFE and every baby's right to stay intact. I believe in attachment parenting and autodidacticism (big word!). (Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Tim 2:15) I'm a "health nut." Food shopping with me is an experience that should be shared with only the most brave-hearted. Just ask my kids. Yes, I'm that anal. If you don't like it, you are welcome to find the nearest McDonald's where you can purchase for cheap and ingest a concoction of absurd chemicals and processed materials under the guise of "food." Good luck with that. I believe that iatrogenesis (another big word) is a real disease and I believe ignorance is deadly. I do not affiliate myself with any political party, but I have voted libertarian in the past, but lean on voluntarism (another big word, I'm on roll!). I'm pretty sure I qualify for Facebook-aholics Anonymous. I have little patience for gluttony, lies, telemarketing, stereo-typing, apathy, hangnails, potato chips, two people talking to me at the same time, sticky floors, whining, soap operas and sitcoms. I blame years of non-fluoride use for these intolerances. I find running shoes and stainless water bottles exceedingly attractive. Single parents are awesome. Pet lovers, could they be any hotter? (BTW: I have three dogs, two cats, an aquarium, and a guinea pig). So basically, if you come to my house wearing running shoes, carrying a stainless water bottle, accompanied by your kids and armed with a leash attached to an animal, you might as well be prepared for the onslaught of high praises by yours truly. I have lived through domestic violence, an ugly divorce, poverty, and the loss of friends and family members. I am a survivor! I'm an INFP (book by Keirsey/Bates, look it up). I am told I am "left brained." I think that means that either I like things logical, practical and reality-based OR I have only half a brain. You decide;)
