Are You Prepared For The Coming Economic Collapse And The Next Great Depression?
What do you do when an entire nation begins to lose the capacity to think rationally? Many Americans spend a great deal of time criticizing the government, and there is certainly a lot to complain about, but it is not just the government that is the problem. All over America, people appear to be going insane. It is almost as if we have been cursed with stupidity. Sadly, this applies from the very top of our society all the way down to the very bottom. A lot of us find ourselves asking the following question much more frequently these days: "How could they be so stupid?" Unfortunately, we are witnessing a complete collapse of common sense all over America. Many people seem to believe that if we could just get Obama out of office or if we could just reform our economic system that our problems as a nation would be solved, but that is simply not true. Our problems run much deeper than that. The societal decay that is plaguing our country is very deep and it is everywhere. We are a nation that is full of people that do not care about others and that just want to do what is right in their own eyes. We hold ourselves out to the rest of the world as "the greatest nation on earth" and an example that everyone else should follow, and yet our own house is rotting all around us. The words "crazy", "insane" and "deluded" are not nearly strong enough to describe our frame of mind as a country. America has become a sad, delusional old man that can't even think straight anymore. The evidence of our mental illness is everywhere.
The following are 20 signs that we are witnessing the complete collapse of common sense in America....
#1 According to Wired Magazine, FBI agents have been taught that they can “bend or suspend the law” as they pursue criminals and terrorists. But when they break the law they become criminals themselves.
#2 A TSA manager (not just an agent) at Dulles International Airport was recently discovered to be running a prostitution ring out of a local hotel room. TSA agents have been charged with crime after crime after crime and yet we continue to allow them to be in charge of airport security.
#3 CBS News is reporting that approximately 200 pieces of luggage a day are being stolen by employees at John F. Kennedy International Airport and authorities still have not been able to stop it.
#4 Visitors to the United States must now pay $14 to complete an online form that asks them a series of really bizarre questions. For example, one of the questions asks visitors to the U.S. if they ever "collaborated with the Nazis".
#5 The U.S. military is buying huge amounts of electronic parts from China (mistake number one) and a government investigation has uncovered the fact that a large percentage of these parts are counterfeit. Yet the U.S.military continues to buy huge amounts of electronic parts from China (mistake number two).
#6 A high school senior in Indiana was recently expelled from school for cussing on Twitter.
#7 Police in Chicago apparently believe that our "First Amendment rights can be terminated" at their discretion.
#8 Americans are becoming very cruel to one another. This is especially true when it comes to the weak and the elderly. For example, two "caregivers" down in Georgia were recently charged with waterboarding an 89-year-old woman that had been entrusted to their care....

Clayton County police said Jermeller Steed and Cicely Reed held down Anna Foley after an argument that started over ice cream.
#9 An increasing number of American families are taking out student loans in order to pay for their children's kindergarten tuition.
#10 One town in Massachusetts plans to distribute free condoms to children as young as 12 years of age.
#11 Children in America are exposed to enormous amounts of sexual material on television these days, but we are always so shocked when they try to act out on it. The following is one very disturbing example that happened recently in Ohio....
Authorities in southwest Ohio have charged a 13-year-old boy with raping a 5-year-old girl at a McDonald’s play area.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office said Monday that the alleged assault occurred Oct. 29 at a McDonald’s in the Cincinnati suburb of Anderson Township. Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Barnett says the girl’s grandmother was nearby in the restaurant at the time.
#12 The following is another example from Indiana of how our sexualized society is affecting our young children....
Fishers police said an 8-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy were caught in a sexual act on a school bus.
The girl’s parents are now trying to determine if the February incident was a rape or molestation.
In a statement, police said a bus aid caught the girl and the boy “trying to have intercourse,” and that the “bus aid immediately separated the juveniles and informed the bus driver.”
#13 According to Natural News, the Michigan state government intends to raid private farms and kill pigs that have "the wrong hair color" even though some of these farmers have been raising these pigs for decades.
#14 An executive order recently updated by the Obama administration would give the federal government complete control over all food, all energy, all health resources, all transportation resources and "all other materials, services, and facilities" at the discretion of Barack Obama. The wording of the executive order has been changed so that this can now be done even in "non-emergency" situations. Very few Americans seem concerned by this.
#15 These days many Americans are very hesitant to get involved with helping out anyone else. For example, an 86-year-old World War II veteran living near Detroit was recently brutally carjacked in broad daylight at a gas station. He could not walk after the attack because his leg was shattered so he began to crawl across the concrete pavement to get help. Sadly, many people walked past and drove past as if he was not even there.
#16 At one airport in Hawaii, TSA agents recently required one new mother to go to a public restroom and fill up the empty baby bottles she was carrying with her own breast milk before they would allow her to get on to her flight. The following is how one local news station described the incident....
She claims agents told her she couldn't take the pump on the plane because the bottles in her carry-on were empty.
"I asked him if there was a private place I could pump and he said no, you can go in the women's bathroom. I had to stand in front of the mirrors and the sinks and pump my breast in front of every tourist that walked into that bathroom. I was embarrassed and humiliated and then angry that I was treated this way.
When the bottles were full, she was allowed back on the plane.
#17 Massive brawls have been erupting at Chuck E. Cheese restaurants all over the nation. Police responded to violence at one particular Chuck E. Cheese restaurant in Pennsylvania 17 times in just one recent 18 month time period.
#18 Thieves in New Jersey have become so desperate for scrap metal that they have started breaking into churches and ripping the copper piping right out of the walls.
#19 Tide detergent has become an alternative form of currency on the streets of America and there has been an epidemic of Tide thefts all over the nation. The following is from a recent article in The Daily....
Theft of Tide detergent has become so rampant that authorities from New York to Oregon are keeping tabs on the soap spree, and some cities are setting up special task forces to stop it. And retailers like CVS are taking special security precautions to lock down the liquid.
One Tide taker in West St. Paul, Minn., made off with $25,000 in the product over 15 months before he was busted last year.
“That was unique that he stole so much soap,” said West St. Paul Police Chief Bud Shaver. “The name brand is [all] Tide. Amazing, huh?”
Tide has become a form of currency on the streets. The retail price is steadily high — roughly $10 to $20 a bottle — and it’s a staple in households across socioeconomic classes.
#20 New federal rules will severely restrict the kind of work that children can do on farms in America. Kids will be banned from doing many of the most basic kinds of farm chores under the new regulations. Perhaps the children can just sit inside and watch television while the adults do all the work.
As mentioned earlier, what America is experiencing is not just an economic collapse. The truth is that our entire society is collapsing.
For many years our great prosperity masked much of our decline, but now our great economic strength is rapidly fading and it is becoming very difficult to deny how far we have fallen as a nation.
You can find more examples of how American society is decaying right here and right here. Anyone with half a brain can see what is happening to the United States. It really is sad, because America was once a truly great nation.
So is there any hope of a recovery?
Not if we keep going down the same path.
In the end, the choice is up to you America.

Arrignorance is the perfect marriage of pompous presumption with total mind-blind stupidity and self-delusion such as in the belief in national exceptionalism that will somehow most magically preserve the country from a severe reckoning for its manifold idiocies or that any other entirely subjective perspective possesses the weight of inarguable substance because the holder of such viewpoint most fervently espouses it to a point where no purely objective reasoning/analysis is possible or permitted.
Unsanity is a degenerative mental condition of far more perilous nature. A person we hold as insane suffers from an involuntary delusionary syndrome we most often come to understand, and can thereby hope to treat. Unsanity however is the quite voluntary abandonment of rationality and logical linear perspective, the madness of crowds, so to speak, writ as large as any sane person might fear in their worst-case scenarios of universal psychosis. In this case, not only are all the intellectual processes of objective critical thinking dispensed with, but also the desire to maintain/defend these from the deadly toxins of mass popular confusion, delusion, and illusion.
More simply put,it is a deadly state of affairs where truth has become so “relative” in popular subjectivity – i.e. people choosing to believe what they would believe because they need/want to believe it, and refusing to entertain harsh facts that would contradict, and explode their cherished mythologies – the reality of pending disaster is simply dismissed outright, and any warning of such denounced in highly defamatory and puerile fashion.
This latter condition I find has now infected a greater percentage of this country’s population, hence the now stark absence of so-called common sense (a complete verbal misnomer to begin with as any rational person understands).
Unfortunately there’s no cure for this deranged condition save for the acid splash of adversity so I do not expect anything except the greatest catastrophe will serve to remedy matters.
This is no mere normalcy bias – No, this is the latently suicidal mindset I believe of a people who have consciously and unconsciously given up on reason/civilization, upon both an individual and collective basis and are privately resigned to whatever catastrophe occurs.
No one thinks seriously, concerning the future, but only of getting as much out of now as they can, and what may happen nearly or distantly be damned, so long as they can dance and sing and have their “fun” today – party grasshoppers of Americo unite!
There was a saying quite prevalent just before WWI – “Better a horrible ending, than a horror without end.” I’ll wager that the former comes far sooner than expected, with few the sky is blue grasshoppers surviving.

I work in NYC, and live in NJ. I see very little evidence that people see what is going on around them, or even understand the consequence of their ambivalence. They’ve elected Bloomberg 3 times.
I work with supposedly educated people, but all they seem to be interested in is sports. There is a constant chatter on sports, even from the women. Never a topic of importance such as the issue of Executive Orders.
I have grown sons, one of whom is far more capable of handling himself that most men, and I still worry because the police in NJ, and NY seem to be insane, and will go the extra mile to frame someone for a crime.
If you talk to people about their duty to maintain a free state they look at you as if you are speaking a different language.
I could go on, but suffice it to say that I often feel like Dr. Miles Bennel.

Sports and television have become the Ameristani equivalent of bread and circuses, so long as they keep the population at large entertained they can continue apace until the framework is completed. Only once it all stops will they wake up to what has happened and even then most will gladly turn to the first Caesar Tyrannus that offers the promise of a return to ‘happy days’ rather than face the horrific reality of it.
mattCmon guys, I read these articles all the time and love them AND I Love sports. One CAN be educated and love sports. Sports are real drama and are WAY better than any fake show on TV. The comments above about sports appear more and more, joining many other former staples of human interaction in the realm of the misunderstood, detested, and avoided.
Athletics are not only great physical exercise for the participants, they are a ritual of togetherness, teaching participants to be goal oriented, to strive to be the best they can be, to take responsibility for and pride in ones contributions to a team. Also to take pride and pleasure in the success of others, both as an individual and as a group.
Sports also inspire people to find commonality with others.
As society has gone on down the tubes, every single one of those ideals has gone with it. Ambition and initiative has been replaced by entitlement. Involvement has been replaced with bystander apathy. Accountability has been replaced with denial, finger pointing, and re-imagining of the limits of the boundaries afforded by “freedom”. The drive to seek out and enjoy the company of others has been replaced by anti-socialism, poorly considered social filtering and ostracizing, and the laziness afforded by electronic social media. The need to compete has been demolished. In it’s place, a situation where winning is held out to be a worse cross to bear than losing, and the mere creation of losers as a natural result of a winner’s existence is considered “destructive to growth”, rather than something that makes winners reflect on the benefits of effort and losers resolve to do whatever is honorable to be winners.
Rather than own the void that this has created, we now redefine the basic human needs and drives so that what we are doing without is considered unpalatable and better avoided.
Schools are now designed to get that process started as early as kindergarten – long before deeper adult-like situations begin presenting themselves among peers in Jr. and Sr. High School so that by the time kids get there, they are either socially irrelevant to each other or are the friends that make enemies completely redundant.
Now at 40, I still get “that look” on my face sometimes when I see grown men wince at the sight of a game as though they’d stepped in something. But then I remember what values sports actually address and my confusion about why an ever increasing segment of society (particularly Gen Y) despises them so much. It is a great lesson on why this country can’t unite over anything but nationwide catastrophe. Why its people pick ridiculous contrived differences such as political party affiliation, class, race, and many others to support a platform of faux superiority over their fellows.
It’s a tragic anecdote about why this country is finished.

This is exactly what Michael is talking about. Exactly what I talk about to people who realize what is going on here. Post after post, you pin your tin metal of superiority on your “side” as if it singularly represents you and is in fact superior.
The truth is, were there really two independent and opposite sides, you’d still have no idea which one supported your claimed values. As it happens, the side you profess to be on was so hellbent on preventing the spread of your stated ideals that its actions and intent became the defining reason for the creation of the opposite side.
Don’t believe me? Look it up. Your liberal Dems? The party of the common man? The Civil War was what it took to stop them from spreading the genocide and slavery of the common man in America of all races from spreading beyond the South. That’s right. They were the party of the slave-owners. They were the founding party of Tammany Hall that exploited the European immigrants to the Northeast and forced them into roles as cannon fodder in the Union army or face deportation back to European poverty. Less than half a century later, they were stepping back and letting a foreign military kill their own people at Pearl Harbor, after provoking that country by destroying its ability to support itself, as a way to end a depression sown in large part 16 years earlier when they privatized the money supply of the country to keep it beyond the controlling power of the Constitution, and thus, the same common man you like to claim they represent.

Before looking to blame schools for removing God from their syllabus, try wondering if families have done the same. Also, there are many atheists that are wholly moral people, so a lack of religion is not the issue.
If one compares the US to Europe, one may suspect that the American Dream is what is really the core of what is wrong with America: it’s a succeed-at-all-costs mentality (even at the expense of one’s neighbour: how else can one be successful if one is not better than others?) – and, sadly, European nations are starting to follow suit, although the impact is softened by a greater concern for the citizen (yes, things like free or subsidised health care, etc.)
Rampant materialism has turned our attention away from the things which really matter: other people – whom we only now view as obstacles or competitors standing in our way of getting to the pinnacle of success or at least the products we want at Walmart. (Matt 24:12).

I dare any adult to sit and watch a days worth of The Disney channel or Nickelodeon programs and they will be bombarded with images and messages of violence, disrespect to parents, and sexual situations. TerryI liked the line in your comment about people doing what seems best in their own eyes. That’s the same thing that was said about the Israelites during the time of the Judges. The other theme from Judges is this: God gives the people the rulers they deserve.

Mr CarpenterI just read the book The Harbinger and also viewed the video Isaiah 9:10, which is done by the same gentleman, and it goes a long way towards explaining and making sense of what has happened in the past 11 years (and which has been building up since about 1860, in my humble opinion). The rot really ramped up big-time in about 1962 or so, and started to gather exponential ‘steam’ towards a national destruction.
The fact that the Department of Homeland Security just purchased 450,000,000 rounds of 40 caliber pistol ammo which is not legal for use against enemies in war (but through a loophole, can apparently be used against US citizens) and that the DHS has also orderd 175,000,000 rounds of civilian versions of M16 rounds (also with the ability to expand when hitting human flesh – thus not legal for use in wars) speaks volumes, especially when played against the fact – yes fact, that from all appearances, the powers that be are fomenting race-war within our country (very probably as an excuse to institute martial law and then finalize the dictatorship). And yes, I’m fully aware that I’m being watched and so we all are – as Michael says – we may as well stand proud. I’m a Lutheran Pastor belonging to a church association of free local congregations and I’ve been watching this happen since 1980. The part which really gets me is that virtually nobody is listening to those of us who’ve been warning and talking and cajoling others to give a care. So I guess we all will get what we deserve, won’t we?!
But it may well not end well for the powers that be. Perhaps they would be wise to recall that not everyone is a peace-loving Christian Pastor who will not murder (however I will defend myself if threatened bodily).
I read recently that Amerian civilians have a trillion rounds of personal ammo – and read also that upon seeing the news about the DHS ammo, a commentator elsewhere essentially wrote to the DHS people – “quit. you’re on the wrong side.”
I keep picturing Mussolini and his henchmen in my mind. Maybe the powers that be should stand down if they value their lives?

Economics TeacherDon’t bash sports & all its fans. I teach economics, am a civil rights activist, a Ron Paul fan, & try to educate people about our fiat money ponzi economy. When I morph from sports to real talk after getting to know people, they are more receptive. Sports is fine as a diversion as long as 1 doesn’t find it more important than 1′s loss of rights & it doesn’t crowd out 1′s responsibilities as a citizen (not a consumer). It’s a measure of priorities.

MichaelSadly most Americans just don’t care about government all they care about is the next American Idol and what Snookys up to. Its really sad how stupid most American have become. What’s it going to take for people to wake up! I see a lot of young people reading and researching political issues online and have a better understanding of the world more than most adults do.

America is now a very multi-cultural country with some segments engaging in things other segments rarely engage in. Multi-ethnic societies have far more problems than mono-ethnic societies and the more multi-ethnic America becomes, the more problems it has.
MicheleDear Father in Heaven, Thank you for another day of sunshine & warm weather and a happy marriage, a cute loving dog of 14 years, my 16 & 18 year old healthy sons, a warm safe dry place to live, with food on the table, and a job you gave to my husband! Thank you for the ability to to pray and see the sun come up and go down every day! Thank you for the directions you wrote on what to do in case it got bad in life like it is in America and every other country who have sinned against you and the rules you wrote for us to live by and to follow to prosper! Thank you for knowing this would all happen in advance and for sending Jesus Christ around 2000 years ago to die for me and anyone else who is willing to know who you are, what your about and why they are here at this point in time! Thank you for allowing me to know of the good ole days and the brand new upcoming perfect days you have prepared for me & my household in advance when the world came to this point! Forgive me God, for not doing more and for not always being on the winning team, thank you for always coming after me, as if I were the only sheep in the world and for loving me far more than I deserve! Andrew BullesSo, I’ll put this one to the crowd about a member of my family. He’s is divorced since 2009. He has been living on about $36,000 per year in California since that time and has managed to save roughly $20,000 in cash and has some silver and gold. His divorce happened just after he lost his job in 2008 and could find another like position – he was out of work for 10 months… so he settled for a job in retail managing a store. Since that time, he has not filed income taxes as he wanted to save money to hopefully buy a run down desert foreclosure property. He wants to pay ALL cash for the property… around $30,000. Then he says he will start to save money to hopefully one day file his taxes and pay off the taxes he will owe? What do you think his chances are of being able to securely keep the property he buys while trying to fix things with the Federal Government’s theft department? And, should he even file the taxes? I say, buy Silver and never buy property in his name and just disappear… I told him to wait until his oldest child is 18 and buy the house in her name. His prospects are not good as his life long career was as a construction foreman, plan checker and estimator for a national housing construction company. He doesn’t think his “old” job will ever come back and is, at least, realistic in that sense. Anyway, there’s more to his story but I think any answer you good posters give could be helpful.
